The Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services (ZIBFS) in collaboration with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) will hold a two days training workshop on Budgeting & Forecasting in Financial Institutions on 14th -15th September 2021 at Cresta Golf View Hotel in Lusaka.
The training has been premised on the fact that budgeting & forecasting is the anchor of every Institution’s profitability. From experience, institutions with the right budgeting & forecasting acumen have been seen to stir up their Institutions to greater levels of profitability. It is therefore imperative for financial institutions to ensure that individuals who have been tasked with the responsibility of budgeting & forecasting are exposed to continuous upgrade of their skills so that their institutions are sustained on the positive trajectory of being profitable.
At the end of this training, participants are expected to demonstrate a working knowledge of creating a robust balance sheet and a forecast Profit & Loss (P&L) and to develop hands-on skills of building capital budgets and forecast financials with ease, among many other skills.
