HEAD CORPORATE BANKING

Reporting to Executive Director Wholesale Banking – Corporate Banking, s/he will perform the responsibility of:

  • Draw up work schedules for identifying and marketing prospective customers
  • Maintain good public relations with current and prospective customers
  • Definition of marketing and sales strategies of Institutional units
  • Development of Corporate Products & Services
  • Negotiate Treasury rates with customers in consultation with Treasury to ensure maximum profitability to the bank
  • Management and maintenance of existing customer relationships and development of new customer relationships

Qualification and Skills:

  • First degree in any discipline or equivalent degree. Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience
  • Good Customer Service / Relationship Management
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Oral & Written communication
  • Industry or Sector experience
  • People Management

 

HEAD BUSINESS BANKING

Reporting to Executive Director Wholesale Banking – Corporate Banking, s/he will perform the responsibility of

  • Formulation and implementation of Business banking strategy
  • Definition of marketing and sales strategies of Business Banking Group
  • Development of Business Banking products and services
  • Management and maintenance of existing customer relationships and development of new customer relationships
  • Management of credit risk framework
  • Develop a customer management framework including customer insight driven marketing
  • Fund the bank with low cost liabilities

Qualification and Skills:

  • First & post graduate degree
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience
  • Good Customer Service / Relationship Management
  • Strong selling/negotiation skills
  • People Management
  • Financial Analysis/Financial Market Analysis
  • Risk Management/Credit Risk Management/Credit Analysis

 

RELATIONSHIP MANAGER-CORPORATE BANKING

Reporting to Head- Corporate Banking, s/he will perform the responsibility of:

  • New Business Development by drawing up work schedules for identifying and marketing prospective customers
  • Plan and report on Marketing calls for the unit
  • Credit processing and Appraisals
  • Close Monitoring of Credit relationships and loan recoveries
  • Maintain good public relations with current and prospective customers
  • Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend on the credit worthiness of the customer
  • Attend Credit Committee meetings with the Team Leader
  • Prepare periodic reports for the team, prepare the Team’s annual budget for consolidation and incorporation into the Group budget by the Group Head

Qualification and Skills:

  • First degree in any relevant discipline.
  • Diploma in Banking and Finance
  • Preferably 4-6 years’ experience in a similar position within the Banking sector.
  • Good Customer Service / Relationship Management
  • Strong selling/negotiation skills

 

RELATIONSHIP MANAGER-COMMERCIAL BANKING

Reporting to Head- Commercial Banking, s/he will perform the responsibility of:

  • New Business Development by drawing up work schedules for identifying and marketing prospective customers
  • Plan and report on Marketing calls for the unit

  • Maintain good public relations with current and prospective customers
